Why did I not know this? I am shocked at how easy it is to make the best whipped cream. And you would think we of all people would have known this ages ago. We love whipped cream! I love it on pancakes, waffles, desserts, and pretty much everything that I can think of!

We have always gotten the cans from the grocery store and it never dawned on us that we could make our own until a friend of my Mom’s had a party. And she had a huge bowl of homemade whipped cream that we inhaled. It was pretty embarrassing. We even licked the bowl. We went home and went straight to work to find a recipe for homemade whipped cream.

Experimenting with Homemade Whipped Cream Options:

Although Mom informed us that heavy whipping cream is not cheap, we went through what felt like gallons in one week. We experimented with using all different kinds of sugar combinations and extracts until we landed on what we liked the best. We tried powdered sugar, but it tasted too much like frosting to us. It was not until we ran out of white sugar that we tried the combination of white and brown sugar that we loved.

The Best Whipped Cream is Easy:

Sometimes when you buy things at the store you assume that they would be hard to make at home. But making whipped cream is so easy! You just whip up the cream, sugar, and extract. The hardest part is doing the dishes. But then licking them clean is not so bad either.

We hope you make some right away, and put it on everything like we do!
