5 Ways to Make Your Food Look Like Bunnies

make your food look like bunnies

I think it is no secret by now that I am a bit bunny-crazed. Anything that is shaped like a bunny draws me in like a magnet. When I was looking for some new recipes, I found so many cute ways to make your food look like bunnies. In my opinion, these should not be just reserved for Easter. I say food should look like bunnies all year round.

The Story of Sir Albert Gray:

I don’t know when it all started, but ever since I was very little I have adored everything that involves bunnies. For years and years, I begged my Mom and Dad for a real bunny. And the answer was always a hard no. It wasn’t that they were trying to be mean, but we have a certain doggy in the house who likes to hunt small animals.

Although she doesn’t look like she could do any harm, you cannot trust that face!

On my birthday last year, however, Mom and Dad said they had a surprise for me. It turns out that they had rescued a little rabbit from a local shelter and he was mine! That was the best birthday present ever.

To celebrate my love of bunnies, I want to try all of the following ways to create bunny food art.

#1 Bunny Pretzels:

“The Best Chocolate Covered Pretzels for Easter” – The Monday Box

When I saw this idea from The Monday Box, I saved it right away. It looks so easy and who does not love a chocolate-covered pretzel? I think this would make such a great activity at a bunny-themed birthday party.

#2 Bunny Cinnamon Rolls:

“Easter Bunny Cinnamon Rolls”- Domestically Beautiful

This recipe from Domestically Beautiful made my mouth water. As I have mentioned before regarding muffins, whoever decided that dessert is acceptable for breakfast was genius. No kid is fooled by the word, “muffin” or “roll.” We know that means dessert, and we like it.

#3 Bunny Shaped Cheesecakes:

“Bunny Mini Cheesecake Bites” – Hallmark

These cheesecakes from Hallmark do look a bit more difficult. However, they may need to be a part of my next birthday party. What I like about them, is they do not have any toothpicks that make food art dangerous. We avoided this with our silly dessert sheep and healthy bug snacks.

#4 Bunny Fried Egg:

“Easter Bunny Breakfast” – Maple and Mango

Bacon. Bacon belongs in every meal. This recipe from Maple and Mango looked healthy. (I still argue that bacon is meat and should be considered healthy.)

5 Bunny Butt Pancakes:

I have seen multiple images if this one online, but Feels Like Home did a great job of explaining how to make your pancakes look like the behind of a bunny. I can’t wait to try it with our Saturday Morning Pancake recipe.

Bonus Idea: Bunny Sugar Cookies
